Mobipocket Dictionary PID help!!!!!!! |

Hi there, my friend recently bought the Mobipocket Dictionary & Thesaurus from mobipocket.com. If he had the setup files already surely i wouldnt pay $20 for another eBook!
But every time i try open the Dictionary it says 'Wrong PID', if any1 can help me get it away, PLEASE HELP!!!

mind sending me the setup files u used? i think PID is thecopy protection of mobipocket. i got the encarta dictionary on my P800, i can send it to u if u want. send me the mobipocket files. hendrickchan@yahoo.com

i dont think he can email mobipocket, since he didnt purchase the dictionary from them, he's just borrowing a friends copy. |

Ebooks purchased from Mobibook can be opened by ONE specific PDA only (actually, TWO, since they allow you to input up to 2 PIDs in case you have 2 PDAs using Mobibook reader). So, technically, you cannot open an ebook purchased by another person using his mobipocket account with his PID number "registered". You can open non-PID specific ebooks if they are freebie ebooks or Palm doc files. If your friend registered one PID (his) with Mobipocket, ask him to also "register" your PID number too but you will have to redownload the ebook after the registration so you can open the book with your PDA. |

Thanx! hendrickchan, i can't mail the setup files to you cuz my friend has the files on his PC. But where did u get Encarta Dictionary from?! Pls mail it to me or give me the link. Thanx!
