Virtual flip with flip on? |

I want to enable the virtual flip with the flip still on the phone (so when it is in the cradle and I am using P800 Remote, I can dial in the numbers using my mouse).
If I enable the Virt. Flip, when I close the flip, I reopen it and the Virt. Flip icon is gone.
Any ideas on how to get it to stay? |

Easy, file away the square bit on the flip (down on the righthand hinge) that push's the button under it.
You will need another unmodified flip if a standard setup is to be returned to.
Thats the only way .

I haven't used Remote P800 yet, but I think I have the answer for you. If you want a keypad in Flip Open mode & you can't use the Virtual Flip, just go to Phone then click on the little keypad icon in the bottom right corner. Voila! Hope this helps.

Yes, exactly what I thought would do it, but the next time you shut the flip, the icon is no more, she gone mate
I think pachy was right in that there is no way to permanently enable it. |

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear the first time. Go to the "Phone" Application where you have the 3x3 grid of Speed Dials & just ABOVE the battery icon is another keypad icon very similar to the Virtual Flip icon but without the OK and Options key. This is because this second keypad doesn't have these buttons, just the numbers. This is hopefully the answer to your problem.

Yes, sorry for the misunderstanding.
This is a good workaround for this for the problem and I will be doing this from nowon, thanks for the suggestion |

Glad I could help. It feels good to give back to the Esato community because I've got so much from it.
