Anyone have any ideas as to how one could delete all of the contacts off of your P800 Contacts database?

I have junk in mine and wish to download from my laptop, but I can only see single entry delete from the conatct itself. Manual doesnt give any help in the matter either.

Thanx in Advance

In the sync software on your PC, there's an option to 'force full syncronise' or something similar, you should then get the option to 'replace everything on pc with device', 'replace everything on device with pc' and a third I can't remember, chosse the one that replaces everything on the device, hit sync, and it will download all the contacts on your PC, replacing the ones currently on your P800

Thanks for the response, but I have tried this already. My problem is the phone still keeps its old entries. I therefore have some duplicated entries that I have cleared out of Outlook, but still stay on the phone.

So I still have the same problem. I wondered if maybe the phone is pulling entries from the Sim, but it doesnt appear to be.

Regards

When I did this, it completely overwrote what I had in the phone already, you used the 'force full synchronisation' option in the 'full syncronisation' tab of sync station settings??
