hey,
im trying to uninstal my Sync Software (v1.4.2) but when ever i do it says that i need to re start as there has been an instalation/uninstalation since last reboot.
When i reboot it says the same! very frustrating!
any clues on how to uninstall it?

tried that. put the original cd in and it says exactly the same!
im only doing it because i installed my bluetooth dongle after installing the sync software so although bluetooth works it doesnt want to recognise that its a way of syncing in the menu of devices (for example infrared is there and the usb cradle)
if that makes sense
(im only trying to get the bluetooth sync working as im trying to remote control the p800 using my pc. the cradle works fine but i'd prefer to use bluetooth:()

hmm... then perhaps try to manually delete the folder c:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson.... and associated registry entries (HLM\Software\Sony Ericsson and the one in the HLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall... (search for: "PC SUITE")
then reboot & reinstall!
