Hi,

Anyone knows how to remove the DEMO app that came with the SE800. Seems to be a big file just plain sitting there...It's not listed in the unistall list on my phone. BTW, can we explore the installed apps on the phone in any way?

The applications are located here:
c:\system\apps\

Removing the sis file here makes it dissappear from the uninstall list.
c:\system\install\

Use a filemanager..

Please note that I do not recommend doing it like that.
Because there is no way to know if there are files in other places.

BTW.. (the makers of tracker will hate me for this)
In order to reset the 15 day trial period in the unregistered version of tracker..
Delete the file c:\system\data\sw_tracker_check.dat

I just figured this one out.
Figured it was a good example of how apps leave stray files here and there. Like in windows this might eventually force us to do a master reset...
I was considering making a topic out of it but decided against it.

thanx for the tip on removing the demo app. by the way in the c:/system/mail folder i have jpg files that i have downloaded from wap and have deleted them a long time ago. there are also files which are also taking up space. i found i have 10 or more 70kb+ jpg in the c:/system/mail folder. can i delete them all? can i just delete them whole mail folder instead? whats the purpose of this folder anyway? thanx
