No way that phone is going to compete with the P800....
I don't see the point in having a penphone when the screen is so small...
Looks like all other Nokia phones...
P800 - Z200 - T68i - Jabra BT200 - 128 MSD - HPR-20 R320 - GF768 - IBT-20 - ILP-20 - T28 - SH888 - T300 - T200 - T65 - GA 628 - K500i - T630 |

Looks rubbish as usual.
Read the Nokia press release for a good laugh. Something about the Stylus being stored on the back of the phone as it represenst ancient Chinese warriors who used to carry their swords on their back. What a load of rubbish.
Like all Nokias it will be a style no substance phone.

SMS has a huge market in China so this will be attractive to those who can't handle keypad Chinese input methods.

Is the screen a touch screen as well? Seems kind of pointless with a pen, if you can't use it on the screen doesn't it? |

Users need only flip the keypad for the touch screen.. it's not meant to be a smartphone competitor...
It's bound to be a big seller in Asia - Nokia could be working on UIQ pen-based input phone.. only a matter of time before they release a P800 competitor..

Please forgive me what I am going to say. But the phone has a cool design. But I do wonder like PPcrockar what the use it with the pen, when its having real buttons?

Hmm, I guess the people who think this phone is useless don't realize how much Chinese phone users depend on SMS, and how incredibly difficult it is to input Chinese without a handwriting recognition system.
Oh, a lot of Chinese computers have a touchpad on the computer specifically used for text entry.
