I heard today about a trick for getting 2p/min calls on orange pay as you go. All i know about it is that it was mentioned on 'This Morning' sometime in the last couple of weeks. Apparently there is a website which explains how to do it but i cant find it. I realise this is very vague but its all i have to go on. If anyone has any more info about it i'd be very grateful.
Cheers

2p calls using calling card companies was stopped on orange PAYG phones in 1999, you could use an Orange contract phone but recently Orange have changed their charging on 0800 numbers & you need an Orange talk plan NOT OVP Virgin as you will be charged for 0800's now.
If you need more info try calling Telco on 08005941000

mate it was supposed to be a starting point, to show that its probably not a "trick" ie illegal ...guess i should have verified it before hand.... mb i should delete? yes.. me think so.. sorry for the bs post...

i thought that it would probably be something that resembles this:
http://www.qxtelecom.co.uk/0870-dial/home.htm
(point out this has nothing to do with 2p calls on orange... before i get flamed)

@parvski, didnt mean to sound harsh but as the deal referred to in the first post was incorrectly saying PAYG phones when calling cards were only useable for contract orange phones, i was concerned this thread would give false hope.
I have done a search & found this http://cheap.uk.phone.freeservers.com/xorange.htm
But i must point out that its old info, the site says 0800 numbers are free on OVP Virgin deal, but Orange have started charging for 0800's on that deal as from 1st of may & anyone believing that site would get a horrific orange bill, as they woulkd be charged by Orange AND the calling card company, hope this clears up the confusion.
BTW 0800 numbers ARE still free on normal Orange talk plans.
