Hi!

I've just bought a SE T610 and I'm quite satisfied with it,
however I have some problems with it. Included in the package
was a cd with SE software for connectivity, image editing and
MMS creating. I've installed those apps on my XP-system, and
they run. The problem is when I start for e.g. the SE Image editor
it will say that there is no T610 connected.

I have an USB Bluetooth adapter (TRUST BT120) installed on my
system.

I can send pics from my T610 (choosing send/bluetooth ) to my
PC, I've done this some times. However, the connection may be
lost during sendsequence or it might not connect at all. Sometimes
it work.

XP does recognice the T610 as a unit in my "bluetooth neighborhood"
and I can browse files on my T610 and vice versa.

I've tried with a SE datacable as well, but then it won't work at all.

SE Image editor still says that there is no T610 connected.

What shall I do?

Com-ports seems to be accurate.

PC or SE probs?

There seems to be some kind of bug in the SE software. If you disable all com ports, except for the one you intende to use, and then install the software it should work. Atleast it did for me.

too strange... A bug in the SE
application perhaps???

I think this might be a problem/bug/incapatibility with the SE software in T610 or capatibility problem with XP. I am running Windows XP and I think it probably have some problems running or installing itself properly into XP. I am having this problem also.

I think the problem has to do with the phone monitor software. If you read the communication suite software, there should be a window the pops up automatically after you install the software to get us connected to our T610 via USB/IR/BT. But this doesn't happen at all that is why we cannot sync with outlook with the Xtnd software.

Oh.. I called up SE support today and finally got my T610 to sync with Outlook using BT on WinXP

Before that you must make sure that your BT works between T610 and your PC.. you must be able to pair them up.

1) Okay first install the comms suite
2) From My Bluetooth Places | Entire Bluetooh Neighbourhood | and right click.
3) Choose "connect to serial port 1" and when you do that, they will tell you which COM port will be used, remember that.
4) Goto control panel | Phone monitor Options...goto com ports TAB and "enable" that COM port.
5) Now from your outlook, click the XntdConnect Icon.. and it will start to detect your phone!!!

Voila!

I don't even use the software, I just plugged in my Belkin bluetooth adapter, and it recognized the t610, I didn't even have mess around with it, now can move around files back and forth via bluetooth.

Hi, guyz. Newbie here..~

Does anyone know if it's possible to get the files from T610 through Serial Cable?
IrDA doesn't seem to work for me.
And i'm not going to buy a BT dongle either (payin' over 200 HKD just for little bit of downloadings is unworthy...)

Oh, must be a typo... I meant:
2) From My Bluetooth Places | Entire Bluetooh Neighbourhood, select and right click.

You must do a "Discover for services" for the phone, that should list all the various services that your phone will perform.. one of them is the serial ports...
