Synchronisation Outlook2K and P800 |

I have a problem with synching my P800 over USB (or IR). It just does not work. I have W2K and Office 2000 on a Toshiba laptop. I use v 1.4.2. of the Suite and I think I have a recent 'R' version on the P800. I can do backups and transfer files. However when I start the synch software it takes a long time until something happens. The program has 'not been started' or is 'analysing' and when I am lucky after 15 minutes one Calender item is transferred. I have made very conservative settings (mail for only 1 day and my Calender, nothing else needs to be synchronised), but it does not help, only my PC seems to be very busy for ages. I have tried the SE docking and the direct USB cable, as well as IR. What can I do? |

is outlook your default mail reader?

Yes, indeed Outlook is my default mailreader and works fine. I try to synchronise only IN and OUTBOX from my local profile and the Calendar from an Exchange server. I believe it is the Calendar that takes most of the time. |
