Hi i was just wondering if anyone out there could tell me how you can overcome software copy protection on cds because i backup all of my pc-cd games regurly to avoid paying for new copies if the cd becomes damageds.

I heard that it is overcome by using a marker pen or somthing like that.

Any help would be appreciated
