Installed Active Desk eval - now phone crashes on startup!

User7570 Joined: Apr 28, 2003 Posts: 6 PM	Posted: 2003-05-14 00:49 I installed Active Desk, all went well and I restarted the phone later... I now get a Program closed messagebox on startup (Active Desk starts at phone startup) saying: Progam Active Desk Reason code KERN-EXEC Reason number 3 Nothing beyond that. I can connect to the phone via the cradle, but the phone's UI is not active, so I can't uninstall or change any settings. Does anyone know of a way to Reset the phone without having access to the control panel menu?

dracula Joined: May 03, 2003 Posts: 78 From: Bucharest, Romania PM	Posted: 2003-05-14 10:20 i have installed it aswell (the eval one and after that i found the crack for it); it works quite ok but when i'm trying to unistall an application that doesn't work from the begining! i had to enter active desk and choose exit from the menu ( i guess you could use a task manager application to kill the active desk process which hangs up in the memory - try switcher - task manaer app); after i shuted down i was able to unistall the applications i wanted! good luck!
