Wow - the new Nokia is great!
BUT! It has been over 1 YEAR since the T68 was presented. And the T68 has been on the market since october/noveber 2001. The new Nokia will not hit store shleves until q3 2002 - wich means that it is more than a year older than T68. but still dosen't outperform the T68!
By the time the new Nokias hit the stores there will be meany new PACKED SonyEricsson models!!!!! The P800 & T68 is just the start!

The audience of nokia are people who possibly use a phone for its trendiness value. THey would find a radio more appealing than bluetooth, cos when are they ever gonna be sending stuff from thier pc to thier phone???
its "uncool" to do that... might go listen to my radio instead... |

Well...guys: Let's be honest! We have a SERIOUS opponent here...The 7210 WILL rock, that's for sure. T68 are, until proven NOT, still the king of the hill, BUT they have to do better than just an uppgraded T68 ( T68i ). Let's hipe for 4096 colors in the future |

Nokia is starting to catch on that we need tri band phones and two of the four are triband phones. Ericsson has some competition, but I still think the T68 is a great phone |

Guys,
put it this way. Would you prefer a individual phone like the T68 or T39, that you know is the best phone on the market, and not very popular. Or, would you want a phone that everyone has, and isnt as great? not as well made, more bugs etc... |

Yeap... 7210 is a good move for Nokia... but for high end users (like us...) it's not the best thing! The 7210 will sell to those interested in having fun with their mobile, but not to the connectivity demanding users.
SonyEricsson still remains the leader in technology, in usefull technology, not FM radios...  |

Hi I am looking the conversation here.
I have to say i was have nokia cell phone to all my live was never had a problem with that. Now I change to T68 the only way i did that is because i study in New York and the T68 is the only good phone who support GSM 1900.I am very disappointment from sonyericsson. My phone run the R1B any i have a couple of problems with this.I dont have GPRS/WAP access my phone is very very very very SLOW!!! And its freeze when the battery is in the middle pay for this phone 500$ tell me a reason why not to change?And last I am sure if i buy the 7210 in few months i am sure nokia is not gonna be release 7210i or something like the SE who release the T68i just 15 days after i buy their new hi end phone. This is not serious. We are all costumers and don't tell me i can update my phone whenever update i put T68 is T68 and T68i is T68i.The nokia is the number one company in the list with 35% on the market and the sonyericsson is on 5th with just 5.5% and have to pass the siemens the samsung and the motorola! That's the true that's the real! The Sonyericsson have just one good phone or (i am sorry two now) T68 and T68i but nokia all the phones who they have are all the best in theirs categories! Believe me i am a computer programmer I have pass all my live with the technology I know. Sonyericsson just trick us with T68 and the color display that's it. Color display???256 colors? My old game gear have more colors than this....What are you talking about.....Thing again Thing clear see the real world!

I forget to tell the only way that can make the nokia to loose the game is the 3G market. And that's not why is the sonyericsson but because its Microsoft. Microsoft work in operating OS for cell phones. The nokia right now said they are not gonna support that os and they are gonna make NOKIA OS of their phones. So you see its very difficult for nokia to stay near the Microsoft! That's the only problem you have to worry but waiting for the 3G I can enjoy my 7210!!!See you! |

The only reason why Nokia dominates the sales marked is that only fourteen year olds buy their phones because they are so cheap

It seems that you do have very weak memory 
Do you remember the 6310i that was announced... TODAY ??? I am sorry, really sorry for the owners of the 6310 which cannot be upgraded.... on the other side, the T68=t68i and YES they do have exactly the same capabilities Nokia is no1 thanks to the 33xx series and also its 29% and not 35%... About the 256colours... well, yeap... if you dont like them, then do not buy it! I am still looking to find a competitor to the T68... The T68 exists for about 6 months or more now, and the closest competitor to this, the 7210 will make its appearance on the market during the summer (IF everything goes well in production) So be happy with the 256 colours, since the other competitors do not know what colour is...
Oh, and the Mercedes have very weak sales compared to the Hundai cars...so what?
So the same with SonyEricsson... it does not appeal to the entry level users yet!

well nokia is not on the good foot, as was ericsson when they slept over li ion battery and design, now nokia makes the same mistake,
that business folks or maybe they want it to be like that
