I have had my T68 for 1 week now and it is my first Ericsson. Maybe I am still not used to it's little "quirks" but my old Nokia 6210 was so much easier to use as far as entering new contacts, call register and typing SMS with good punctuation. The T9 is slow which I can live with but it doesn't guess when a character should be an apostrophy and not a full-stop in a word such as "that's". It just doesn't seen to be intuitive enough. I will persevere, it may just take getting used to!!

I also just moved from a 6210 to my first Ericsson, the T39. It did get some getting used to, particularly with learning the shortcuts, but after a while, you'll realize that it getting the Ericsson was all worth it. |

stop dissin the phone just because of it's slow t9 input, did you buy the phone just to sms all day?
i mean, you're supposed to make calls with a freakin cell phone.

lor, I do not text all day and I CAN LIVE WITH THE SLOW SPEED (did you read the post?) I was saying in general that text input with punctuation was awkward!

Who are you to tell what we're supposed to do with our phone?
I use my phone mostly for SMS and the slow SMS typing annoys me everytime.
I would rather have fast SMS than Bluetooth, so maybe I should get a Nokia 7210 when it's available

Lor,
If handphones are just for making calls, what difference does it make whether you have a nokia, siemens or ericsson. All of them do that job very well. It is the additional features which are used by consumers which differentiate one phone from another.

That's how I felt as well. But now it's easy to use.
Once you have got used to it you will love it and never go back to Nokia
