Hi everyone im quite new to this site and it rocks..all the info is great ..
does anyone out there have the duke nukem ringtone..(its an old computer game for anyone not sure)..

Also im situated in Perth Western Australia and I was wondering if there is any update on whether we can get these damn sms tones louder or able to change the tone type... I know that there is firmware upgrades out there but does anyone know if they have released a version with these much needed updates?

I work on the building site so when there is tools and loud noises in the background (plus me being a touch deaf ) i always miss my sms'

anyway thanks in advance

Dnavey,
if you have an access to iMeldoy source file (those *.imy files posted here), try to edit VOLUME line and set it to
VOLUME:V19
(may be you can put 20, but i am not so sure and do not have a complete manual handly). If the whole line is absent - put it right befor MELODY:... line. Like this:
VOLUME:V19
MELODY:*4c2.*3a3...

As of Duke Nukem. could you get a MIDI with tune you like? Than I can build the melody. BTW, DN rox!

Dnavey,
I made a duke tone for you

BEGIN:IMELODY
VERSION:1.2
FORMAT:CLASS1.0
BEAT:86
VOLUME:15
MELODY:*3g4#a4r4*4c4r3*3g4*4c4r4d4r3*3g4*4d4r4#d4r4*3g4r4*4#d3d4c4*3g4*4#d3.f3*3f4*4#g4*3f4*4g4g4r4g3.g4g4r4#g3.f4f4r4f3.f4f4r4f4r4f3#d3#c3#d3c3.g4g4r4g4r4#g3g3f3g3.#d4c4r4#d4r4f4r4d3*3#a4r4*4d4r4#d3.*3#c4#c4r4#c4r3#c4#c4r4#c4r2.#c4#c4r4#c4r3#c4#c4r4#c4r0
END:IMELODY

It's loud! At maximum I was able to make it. (if it's too loud for some one - change VOLUME:15 to VOLUME:10).

BTW, VOLUME:15 is the maximum value for laudness (I was thinking about 19 or 20).

Sorry, I have no idea about phone you have, If it is a T68i (the one I have) go to Composer, select your melody, press Menu buton and select Set Volume. So you'll be able to make ringtones louder.

If you have some trouble to send this tone to you cell - drop me a mail with your phone number (check it in my profile, or any address at web site) and I'll make a try to send it.

Have phun!

yep, you are right - here there is no much difference between volume 7, volume 10, and volume 15
