Yes,
You can basically goto http://mobile.earthcam.com & choose the P800 link.
It will setup your phone to enable you to view places such as Time Square and Paris and major cities live, on your phone (streaming).
Quite a cool thing to show off your phone
Note that you cannot access through dial-up, must be through GPRS!!

After updating my firmware to R2A, I can't seem to get the streaming video to work anymore (the Paris and Times Square live cams). It just says connecting but that I get an error afterwards...any ideas?
Thx

Bagel,
You have to be connected via GPRS to view the streaming content of that site (i.e. TimeSquare & Paris).
Connecting through WAP (dial-up), will not allow you to view the streaming content, and yes.....it'll just say "connecting" in the video application, but will not do anything.

Guys I tried everything but I can't seem to get the earthcam working on my p800. it downloads something when I click on the link but then nothing every time I click on times square or paris it wants to download some type of viewer but it doesn't actually open the site.

i have the same problem! asks if i want to download cp.pvx (viewer), choose that and it asks for the same again, but in video, select Open, and it asks if i want to save the url, do this and im back to start again tried both in Opera and the P800's browser.. this link was also in my phone when i bought it, as "Live cameras" .. |

Wow that's cool. It works on my phone over the USB connected to my PC hooked up on the internet and Opera. Such a cool way to show off with your P800

Yeah, I guess the site was having difficulties. I can play them sometimes, from both opera or internet program, but sometimes get messages like "error 200" or "cannot play file". When it is playing, it rebuffers a fair bit, but that may be my carrier...
Will be great if they get the "my cam" working one day.
Rgds to all
