HELP p800 software and connection |

Hi all I was wondering if there was a genius out there to help me?
I have just got a new p800 - I installed the software and then connected up the base and then the p800. It shows in the taskbar the phone is connected but the first time wizard never appeared.
When clicking on the desk top short cut - My P800 is says no phone is connected. It says the phone is connected usb to com3 in in taskbar
I have removed kazaa -set the p800 as per the instructions and uninstalled severals times!
Anyone had this problem and can help? | |

yeah m8, theres a lot of ways that could help you (try a search, sorry). But i have had my phone connected to my laptop with ease, plug in then install, everything ok, but with my PC; i tried all the methods mentioned here on esato, but the way i fixed it was to put the cradle in another USB port, sounds easy, but you never know....
Try a search anyway, as theres different ways for everyone to get their p8 connected to their PC.

it mite be a problem with ur virusscan/firewall software, mine didnt work while i had Mcafee installed, but after uninstalling mcafee and installing Norton it works fine
