y is my p800's camera quality bad. i mean its really bad, i have my setigs on highest resolution hifgest pic quality, even then my photos first of all have some Dotts and then they are so unclear that u cant even make out who is the person ur trying to click before taking a photo |

try cleaning the camera lens...

I have recently bought a new P800 and my image quality is cr*p also.
Sounds like the same as the original post.
Does anyone know anymore awhy this could be so?

P800 only supports 4K colors. How can you expect a good quality of photo? Unless it is 65K colors.

You can expect a good photo....I have taken many and the clarity is really good....It best works in the sun of course...This goes for my T68i and MCA-20 aswell regardless of the screen the pictures it took were of good quality. Maybe some of you peeps are expecting 2 million pixels or something! Transfer to your pc and all will be clear

The screen is 4K colour, the actual camera and jpeg file is 24bit colour. |

from my experience, u got to be very firm when pix taken.
and I mean a very strong grip, otherwise it's all blurs
