Flash Snap-On & t610 |

So, are releasing a flash snap on - superb!
Night photos will come out better than ever.
However, I have some concerns about its usage with the t610. If we assume the t610 is like all other camera phones and you look through the display as a viewfinder, that means most of the time you're holding the phone upright.
As well as doing this, will the user need to press the flash button on the side of the flash at exactly the same time?
I hope that the t610 has some kind of programming to sense that when the flash is connected, and when photos are taken the flash is automatically triggered, but I don't know.
Can anyone shed any light on this?

It will not be a flash it will be a constant light. So se should acctually call it "photo light".
So you will probably be able to choose if you want it on or off.

Ouch!
That's gonna hurt the battery.
I guess I'll be charging the phone 24/7 then

Can't see why it would use that much battery. There's quite good light in the IBT-20 and it doesn't use that much battery... |

I'd really like to think that would be able to wire the two together so you just press the button on the phone and the flash goes automatically.
We can but hope

No it's not out yet....and yes it is just a flashligt.
I read more somewhere att an official SE page (some time ago) but I can't seem to find it now But as to what I remember is that it will not flash in any way but it will light with a constans light.
I personally don't think that it will be linked someway to "interact" with the camera. There will most probably be an on/off button on the "flash" and nothing more. Just my thoughts... |

Taken from SE homepage...
Phone Flash™ MPF-10
28-4-2003
Better lighting makes a better picture. MPF-10 is a snap-on camera flash accessory for your T610. When you need more light, connect the Phone Flash™ MPF-10, press the flash button and capture the moment.
Seems like you'll take the picture with the flash addon... |

I found a pretty good picture of the flas here:

Seems to be a button on the side...
Hmmm sure looks like an ordinary flash I might have been wrong earlier |

Of course its a f**kin flash you idiots,it would'nt be called a 'flash' if it was a torch! And it'll probly take up as much battery power as the mca-20/25. Also its only something that most cheap cameras have on them so i think SE have the brains to make this simple add-on! :-D
