T68i @ sem***n with the chinese characters on the keypad and menu language, CANNOT be upgraded with the EURO language pack, but they insisted it's a T68i. what can you people say?

@crowing: went sess and checked the phone it's ie daw, went to smartnet, same. went to Sony Ericsson MX @ sm north, same.... went to podium they said it's i but when the technician flashed it to check the REAL thing, he said it's ie, hongkong and cannot be uploaded with the euro pack.

gold crest? don't think they can do it.


i'm really annoyed that SEMICON still insist that this unit is i!!!!

@bokayo ask sess to upgrade your t6ie w the bahasa language pack they did upgrade my t68mc w that language pack and no more font inconsistency

@ jam - pre ask ko lang, di ba there are two choices if u want to upgrade ur mc right?

ill upgrade my mc this week, which of these 2 choices/options should i pick based on ur experience?

dont have any idea kasi about bahasa and whats the other one???

Had the same problem. Bought my phone which was sold as a t68i in greenhills checked the back sticker and saw it was made in malaysia and was indicated as t68i but when i had it upgraded at smartnet and requested for a tagalog language pack in addition to a fw upgrade i was told that it was an ie and as such they couldn't do the tagalog upgrade. In my case i have no choice since mine is a gray market unit. You, however have a strong case since you're presumably under warranty and was a victim of misrepresentation.
