I use a free one called DB Power Amp.

IIRC I downloaded it from www.webattack.com in the freeware section.

It's a great difference between a 64kbps-mp3 and a 192kbps-mp3. What's the lengh of the mp3?

I have tried to convert some mp3's to ogg-files. A 48kbps ogg-file has a ratio of about 191 sec per 1MB data, and an adequate sound quality. So, you can then fit about 191*16 sec = 50 minutes of ogg-music on the 16MB memory stick.

(With a 128MB stick you get about 6h47minutes of music)

Does this help?

Ogg vorbis is something like mp3, but the quallity stays the same at a lower bitrate witch means a smaller file, that's what i heard.....

to convert mp3 to ogg download the codec for dbpoweramp from http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central.htm. it's very easy.

have a look at http://www.vorbis.com/faq.psp for comparison rates between ogg and mp3 and advice on what rate to convert your mp3's.

pc suite specifies some filetypes for some folders in your p800 so you don't try copying .ogg file into /audio folder...

but, thanks to programmer, oggplay can detect .ogg files in both /audio , /documents or /other folders both in phone memory and mem.stick..so you can copy them into documents folder...if you really insist, try qfileman to move .ogg file into /audio directory..
