Hi all.
I lost my T68 last night which i use as a substitute for my new P800 when i go out at night (getting drunk).
Now i only went and lost it !!
As i dont have any insurence to cover my T68 its not much i can do about it, however i dont want the theiving ba**ards to be able to use my phone ! Is there anyway i can block the phone ? I assume the SIM card is taken out since i can not call it...
Thanks for your help.

Yeah, your sp can block it. Here in norway, we have to report it stolen (at the police) and they will take care of the rest. You should probably do the same.
Good luck....

ring your operator and tell them.
They will block your SIM card from being used and also tell them your IMEI number and that should block your phone.
However if it a pro thief they can change the IMEI and carry on using the phone. No way to stop it being used altogether.

I know how you feel I lost 2 T68's. One in Miami (drunk) and one in Japan at the airport on my way home. I shouldn't have even lost it, but I took it out of my luggage so I could use it once I arrive in NY. It fell out of my pocket I think when I was sleeping at the waiting area.
Oh well, no use crying over spilt milk
At least the P800 is bigger. It might not be so easy to fall out of pocket. |

Well, my T68i was stolen too, and i wasn´t even that drunk (just a little...). It was after that that i decided to buy my P800 (with insurance...)
I've reported to the police and with that and the IMEI my SP (Vodafone) had blocked it.
I have an old Audiovox, i think i'm going to use it on drinking nights...

u guys might think im mad... but ive saved enough to buy a p800 and upgrade my pc... and no little scrutter is gunna nick my phone while im out... unless i get beat up or summit.... cant help that though...
on a side note. my cousin found a t68 while walkin home yesterday. he's not as kind as me and decided to keep it.... |
