Yes, I looked before I posted!

T68 running R6A012

Reception is horrible indoors, and the phone (reportedly) only pushes out 1/8 of a watt. Not Good. Purchased an Antenna (not, not the booster sticker) http://www.cellantenna.com/Antennas/magneticmount.htm (the CA55M) with a hood that covers the rear of the phone, cuz there is no port for an antenna on the t68. Not any improvement. They suggest buying an amplifier http://www.cellantenna.com/Boosters/da4000.htm
But $300 is a bit to rich for me. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Also (you are are going to kill me for this) but I couldnt find the rigth answer in all of the threads. The only difference between the t68 and t68i is the faceplate, etc, does that mean my t68 with R6A012 is really a t68i?

One more thing....what cables do you *suggest* buying to conenct to a computer? I have a Mac AND a PC available.

Thanks in advance, I am more and more impressed with this forum each day!

Lots of users from USA complain about t68 reception, u must have week network coverage there. Booster for 300$ would be extreme solution, but if u have this problem with other mobiles also, who knows, might be worth it?

T68 and t68i are not different with faceplates only - main difference is other software - if your phone has MMS capabilities, screensaver, picture phonebook etc., it's def. a t68i. They also have different keypad light colour (t68 has orange, while t68i blue). Hardware is the same, so you can change firmware and have t68i soft in t68 phone - it's worth it.

About cables, don't bother - buy irda or BT adapter, this way u can have communication in both sides. With cable u can only send files from pc to phone and synchronize. If u want a cable anyway, u can buy cheap non-original data cables, but check first if they're compatible with DRS-10 or DRS-11 ericsson cable.
