t68 R1C firmware |

is it possible to upgrade r1c firmware to the latest firmware version? coz my friend has a t68 w/ r1c firmware and it really sucks!
we are planning to have it upgraded but dont know what version. |

Mine before is r5c, and it really a big headache, but now bought new one with r6a and it is really gud.

Gee, R1C is OLD an suxx, thats for sure!
At the service center you cannot choose which version to have. They always give you the latest which currently is R7A.
I dont see any reason why you wouldn't want R7A. It is really good and SO much faster than your medival revision

thanks, but i heard that the r2d version cannot be upgraded to a newer
version and i don't know if we can upgrade the r1c version to r7a.
do you guys know about this? |

Yes.. I'm a little bored of the t68i...
It's a nice looking small phone with a nice feature set. But let's face it. It's boring...
You can't add any new things to it.
This is why I like the p800 forum. Something new happens here sometimes.
But if the t68i comes in here....
BTW: I've had the phone so I know what it does(and doesn't) |

but can anyone tell me how can i upgrade by myself....
do i need a cable or can it be using bluetooth?
or need to send to SE for upgrade? |

you cannot upgrade it by yourself.
you need to go to a SE service center for the upgrade.
don't know how they do it. |
