telmap is realeasing there GPS Polaris software for the p800, actually its being released for all java enabled phones, and p800 is listed too. Finally it seems like we will have something to work with, with the BT GPS adapter !! it says it can function with or withoiur GPS ..how is that possible..however it looks GREAT!!.can't wait

without GPS.... I think it means one of two options:

1st option would be something similar to miniGPS from psiLOC where you would get a nonaccurate point on your location based on the cell you are using, but just this time in contrast to psiLOC software you would get a geographical view of where you are and not an "alert view".

2nd option would be that when you are not using a GPS module you would probably just be able to view maps and calculate directions and so some other applications that you don't need locationing for.
