Hi,

Spoke to a shop vendor and according to him the P800 Mineral Grey has s/w version R4A.

Can anyone verify whether this is true? If so, what's new with R4A? To my knowledge the latest version is R2D ?

Thanks

Just spoke to SE Technical Support, and they said that the latest official firmware release was R2D, except R2F which was also available for some customers/country's. He said that R4A doesnt excist yet. Thus, i doubt it's flashed in a phone thats for sale...

false i'd say..

What's new with R2F? is that available in Germany?

Is there T9 support for R2D as well? Alternatively can ya supply a link outling all the improvements with R2D.

Thanks

Exactly whats new with R2F from R2D i dont know. I Think there's basically some networks settings that has been modified/tweaked to work better in some country's/networks - thus resulting in R2F only being available for certain network customers or country's, not everyone..

R2D or R2F doesnt have T9 support. as for whats new with R2D, just search on the forum, you'll find a complete list in some post. It's basically the camera and such that has been improved.. night mode, turn off the camera sound, better pics, full screen pics and video and option for SMS delivery reports.

I update my phone to R2F from 2 days ago, when the installation has been finished and when I turned the phone on it prompt me to choose the language that I want the system to be "English UK, French, German ... etc) there is no Chinese or Japanese languages.
All the enhancements are the same as R2D, the night mode, SMS report, … etc. the SE guys here told me the R2F is the latest official update for the P800.

(something nice I found it … the green light flashes faster than before … cool)

If its true about the light flashing faster on R2F I would be a little worried. Thats going to drain the battery faster.
