Can T600 be connected to a PC? |

Hey there, just a small question:
Can the SE T600 be connected to a PC to transfer/backup the phonebook and SMS (via datacable)? Since I cannot find any conclusive answer on this on the internet or in stores and SE does not give any information either. Only the fact that there is apparently no software for T600 on the SE website...
Thanks a lot for your help, this would be a deciding factor in buying this T600!
Cheers

ps
And if so, do you perhaps know which software / cable to use?
Thank you so much!

Unfortunately, you can't. That's what they told me in the usually well-informed SE service centre Abelsco in Brussels. I also found no software on the SE website that would indicate the opposite. Also no data cables appear on any of the SE sites.
Sometimes such cables appear on vendor sites, but too often they are mistaken.
The T600 can be connected to a computer, but only in SE service centers to update the software.
A workaround is using a sim-card reader and connect that to your PC. You might have to transfer your phone book entries in several steps to that software if you have more entries than your sim-card can hold.
The T600 is "just a phone". The options that it does not have (bluetooth, color, synchronisation, etc.) are those that in fact would come together with wanting a somewhat more full-sized phone since the use mwould be more intensive. I think.

@DeLa: Thanks for your comment!
This is not positive at all from my point of view, since I want to extract SMS from my phone to my computer (now using a T65) and, perhaps even more important, edit and backup my phonebook!
Then I'm wondering what the data-port/connectors at the bottom of the T600 are for :/
Cheers
BTW
then any suggestions for a phone which can be connected to a computer, are small (smaller than T65) and triple band?? (and look as good as a T600 )

I think you want the T68i. It has all that and more.
The T610 might even be better, but is much more expensive (estimated around 500 euro or more, T68i should be around 350)
I'm not sure if you can store your sms-es with the T68i.

The connectors at the bottom are for handsfree etc....
