Can I buy a t610 meant for another country and use it in the u.s.? Or do I have to wait until they release a U.S. version? |

I believe the T610 have 2 Euro/Asia bands (900MHz,1800MHz) and 1 US band (1900MHz).
The US version of T610, called T616, have as far as I know 1 Euro/Asia band (1800MHz) and 2 US bands (850MHz,1900MHz).
IE, the difference is that the T616 has a 850 band instead of a 900.
So if you can use T610 in the US is depending on what band(s) your carrier is using..

well, I have at&t, so it runs on the 1900 MHz. What I am asking is if the foreigns phones will run just like a u.s. phone. can you change the language to english? What would you need to do? |

ok, then it should be possible I think.
Historically, SEMC phones usually have about 4 or 5 language options to choose from, depending on where you bought it. English is always availbale I presume. E.g. if you buy it in Denmark, the langage options are Danish, Swedish, Norwigean and English. Like one SW version for all Scandinavian countries.. |
