EMail problems...help appreciated |

Hi, trying to get my P800 email working using dial up and GPRS - tried different ISP's and no joy with either method. Using dial up gives "problem copying messages (IPv6)" and GPRS gives "Problem copying messages, Not ready".
In both cases the connection is made but fails when connecting with the POP server.
Appreciate help!!! Thx |

I would try another providor if you have "orangeinternet" set as the gprs apn.
Check to see if you can use someone else's pop mail.. |

Probably a problen with your settings. Call orange on 156 from your phone and ask them to send you the settings OTA. Give them your ISP details. That should correct the problem.

I had a similar problem when retrieving mails from a pop server, and solved it like this:
Go to Control Panel->Messaging Accounts
Then select property sheet (below) named "Other" and there should be a "preferred mode" check if "automatic" is selected (it should be in order to solve your problem).
Hope this helps

definately going to be a orange gprs connection problem - the automatic setting decides whether gprs works in conjunction with gsm services so pretty unlikely unless it was set to gsm only.
again - do as dave_uk says but maybe test with someone else's pop3 server also. |

Hi guys, I've the same problem when connecting to my ISP via dial-up... the message reads:
"No route available (IPv6)"
My GPRS setting works fine, though... Any dial-up setting which I should be aware of for my ISP? Have already tried tweaking my other settings... but what happens is that my P800 connects to my ISP, but it could not download mails or let me surf the Web... the said message appears...
What gives???
