Dont turn ir on while using the ir remote app. Its a bug in the program so that when the ir is turned on it 'steals' the ir hardware functions from the app (as it makes SE's own progs a higher priority) thus the ir remote app returns an error and has to close.

I really dont understand the need of this prog i have to stand in front of my TV at a distance of 5 to 10 cm to get it to work

it is just a prog. to show off your friends/parents ... but it is still quit amazing and the only true killer app !!!

Hi guys, me thinks its quite cool really.
When I first installed it, I thought it did'nt work at all, but then I tried it on a Yamaha CD player, and I got it to work from a distance of about 4-5m!!!
I just wish they could add more functionality; looking forward to future releases.

me too needs to direct it 3-5 cm from the set... sucks, the trial wont even let you use it after using about 4 buttons... its self executing |

I've got no probs.
Mine works from 4 meters distance.
SONY tv, JVC vcr, JVC hifi-cd.
After bleujacking, now IRjacking.
change the volume of radio's in bars

i think the 3650 has got an ir remote even b4 the p800's remote came out. no, it cannot be installed on the 3650.. different symbian os versions. |

Actually, in my opinion, the great thing about this program is that you can turn off the TVs and VCRs and stuff, when you are walking thru any Electrical stores.... it sure is alot of fun, and a hell lot of annoyance to the shop owners...  |

i cudnt get it to work on p800 tried twice and ir port is off before starting application i have a Sony TV i tried using it 2-3 CM away still dint work!!
what shud i do? |

every time i start the program i must enter my registration code - if not then it is in demo mode
