T610 Memorysize - Stop Complaining!!! |

Hi!
Iīm one of the lucky few who already got my hands on the T610, and i canīt understand all the complaints on this site about memory size!!!
Here is a fresh memory observation report:
When i got the phone it was pre-loaded with quite much SonyEricsson stuff: 880kb free memory. Much of this stuff where deleteable...
I was able to take 18 pictures before the memory where full..
Did a "Master Reset", and i then had 1986kb of free memory...
Since then i have taken 31 pictures, and i still have 1086kb memory left!!!
Seriously, do you really think this is that bad???

Well............ the problem still exists..

Strange.
880KB = 18 pictures
900KB (1986KB - 1086KB) = 31 pictures
Really big difference in the sizes of different pictures
By the way, what are the pre-defined stuffs?
What will be lost after performing a master reset?

Well, 800 kb is not so much. But for that screen and camera does it works fine. But i wouldnt mind some more memory in the phone:-) maybe 10 meg! Anyway t610 are going to kick 7650's ass! ! Really

Sounds bad to me,i just worked out that on average ur pics r 33kb-48kb. Just took a pic with the missus GD87,sent it 2 my t68i,under pic info its 5kb and under memory status its 10kb,just my 10 bobs worth:-l

Stop Whinging. Some of my pics on my P800 are over 100k. But then I do have the 128mb Memeory Stick Duo arriving Tuesday.
Even so 2mb will be fine for what the phone is designed for. |

The problem is this ... it's always nice to have more .. SE is great at packing in features but they almost seems to come up short! The N7250 has 5mb of memory ... if only the T610 ...... |

Just go and look at wap.sonyericssonmobile.com (web&wap). you can upload your pics, melodies etc. to their and then download them back if you want to... at least this is what I'm going to do... |

You are indeed one of the lucky onces Bompa.
As for the memory, I think 2 mb is enough for me.
It is just a matter of adapting to the fact that all you have is 2mb...the memory of my T68 is not full, it never have been bacause when I got a theme, photo or some other things that I don`t use I just DELETE it or TRANSFER it to my computer...
