Bluetooth adapter installation~ |

Hi ppl~
I have tried to follow the procedure found in another thread to install my bluetooth adapter~ I installed the widcomm s/w, then only plugged in the usb adapter during reboot~ Somehow my PC failed to recognise the adapter, it kept prompting me "New hardware found"~ And when i point it to the btwusb.inf, it wun recognise the driver~ Under my device manager, it'll always have a questionable "Bluetooth USB Adapter", using win2k and a brandless adapter pass on by a fren~
Newbie here, any help will be appreciated~! |

probably you didn't modify the .inf file correctly. , or the instruction was not correct for your particular brand of adapter. |

When I installed mine it wanted it plugged in before I rebooted so it could setup the drivers correctly then it wanted to reboot the pc. So far I would say that the install failed and would uninstall everything and try it again.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling for many times already today~ but nothing is working~
When i plugged in the adapter, a green arrow will show up at my system tray~ The "bluetooth USB Adapter" is listed under other devices in my device manager~
Ran the MSI bluetooth s/w installation, and it'll prompt that bluetooth device not detected~ Wot gives? Any help?
