Which ones is faster for internet connection through cell phone, a data cable or an infrared port??? |

i have both and i find them just the same, i prefer the cable than the ir because of the ir's line-of sight requirement which limits my phone's movement whenever i need to access the phone...

if i were to choose between the two, i'd go for the ir adapter. although like the other guy said earlier you'd have LOS problems, you can still use the adapter with other IR capable devices whereas with the cable, you'd be stuck to whatever its compatible with

yup! when it comes to compatibility ir would be the best choice, i have bt before and i find ir more useful...
