Hotels in Barcelona and Madrid |

Hey people of Spain! Mainly people from Barcelona and Madrid! I am planning on a vacation to these two assume-to-be-beautiful cities where I have never been yet. I was wondering if you could suggest nice hotels to stay at, say for around 150-180 Euros per night, preferably of course in the city centres!
And can you at least also tell me whether Hotel Moderno in Madrid and Hotel Millennium (Best western) in Barcelona would be good choices???
I would appreciate your input for your m8 from Esato family!!!
Thanks in advance!
Best regards, |

Hey m8, I am from Barcelona.
When will you come to the most-beatiful-city-of-spain ??
I never heard about Hotel Millenium in Barcelona. (Where is it?, how many stars?)
But I recommend you this ones: (You can send an e-mail and ask them for special rates)
-This ones are at 100m from "Las ramblas" and "Plaza Cataluña"
1) Hotel Colon
2) Hotel Royal
3) Hotel Montblanc
4) Hotel h10 Raco del pí
5) Hotel Catalonia-Albinoni
-And the hotels at "Avenida Diagonal"
1) Tryp Presidente
2) Hotel Covadonga
3) Hotel Wilson
Finally if you go to madrid you should look at Hotels located or, at least, near at "Calle Granvía", and I recommend you:
1) Tryp Granvía
2) Tryp Cibeles
3) Tryp Memphis
4) Hotel Gaudí
5) Senator Granvía
Also I recommend you to look at Fodor's guide and Michelin Red Guide
Yours faithfully,

I would like you to say that looking at the situation map, I can say that its a bit far to the city center. (Like 20-25 min walking).
Cheers,
