Problem is with a Belkin BT device and windows XP SP1 fully patched. I have downloaded the latest drives for Belkin and Tecomm and get the same result on both installations. I have contacted Belkin IT and they told me to download the latest, reboot, install, reboot, plug in BT. I get thru the fully install but at the window where you pick the service I have nil available. If I try to discover the phone, which is detected I can go no further as no services are available. In the registry it lists all the different drives for the devices available. In control panel Com 3 - com 10 are shown as BT devices. Apart from a complete reformat and new install I am lost as to how to solve the problem (I dont really want to do this).
At work I have a windows2000 machine and have the system working like a charm, so I know the software and device work.
Would appricate some help as Belkin IT have zero idea ! Am will provide any information or look at any setting to shead some light.
