P800 vs. Danger Sidekick |

When I bought my Sidekick (see www.danger.com), I thought it was the coolest device ever. I liked the thumb typing, email was a piece of cake, and AIM worked great. Also, the unlimited data + 200 minutes plan from T-MO was awesome. (My only complaint was that an SDK hadn't been released so there were absolutely NO 3rd party apps available, thought that is changing now.)
Now that I have my p800, my SK is collecting dust and I'm getting ready to dump it. Are there other p800/Sidekick owners out there pondering the same issues? |

Lol i almost bought that thing when it came out. But they only offered one plan with it and it had only 200 minutes amonth. TMOBILE IS STUPID!!!!!! LOL
Then i saw this thing about the p800 on mobile.burn.com
and i was hooked until i got one in January.
But yeah the plan for data usage is crazy tite for the SK i wish i had that plan for p800

I considered the two and opted for the Sidekick. It all came down to economics for me:
Free device plus unlimited data for $40US per month.
It has suited my needs well. Sure, the P800 does more, but at what cost?!?
I use it mainly for email and mobile html surfing, two tasks which it handles extremely well. Even though I have never had a P800, I would venture to say that the email client on the Sidekick is probably better implemented since it pushes mail to the device in real time.
