Hello All, just found two stores with 128's in stock.

http://www.thetwistergroup.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=MSG-M128A%20D11818

I ordered 10 pieces from here (they have 45 left in stock) price was $74. So good luck on gettin it.

second place which I didn't confirm but they claim to have them in stock is http://www.proactiveelectronics.com/SOMSGM128A&af=FGL

I can't wait to get mine, I had it overnighted and the other 9 I will be putting on eBay ! good luck to everyone !!!

Is anyone from London going to buy one? If so, can you get 2 and i'll pay you £90 for it and collect it? Would buy it myself, but dont know about how much is the shipping and custom tax etc will cost, plus i would have got it from p800er but dont trust them that much, getting it from the U.S sounds better

I bought mine at the sony store in Manhattan last week for $89.99.
They are currently out of stock though and I was told they would receive a few by the end of this week.

well I have been searching for this thing all over the place and I have seen this NO WHERE in stock except for the places I wrote above. I did check the Sony Only store in Portland and they said they could special order it for me, but it would take a couple of weeks and the price would be $95 or $87 if I ordered 10. so $74 I believe is a good price for a place that has it in stock !!!

@all, but particularly T68iKING

I got mine from www.p800er.com yesterday, 3 days after ordering on the website. Duo cost about £75 and £16 postage(!) but no hidden charges or nasty duty/VAT. Good service if you want one now and don't mind paying for it to be Fed-Ex'd.

Meanwhile, I'm just gonna get back to listening to my new P800 MP3 collection

@dupasquier (or other NY users), whats the address or at least the road name of where the Sony store is located, if i was going i would be able to look round, but my fathers going, and would prefer to give him a specific location.

EDIT:
@Dave, lol, just read you post, thats quick delivery! I'll buy it off you for £95 (choose a cheaper p+p and you could make some big profit)? you could always order another one if you think the 128mb duo was worth the money?

As said earlier, they don't have them in stock anymore. I bought 3 last week and they delivered only 1 piece... They were pretty optimistic as of getting them again this week and they told me they would call me as soon as they get them. I will make sure to pass the information to all of you when they do.

I have order 4 128mb sticks from The Twister Group on Thursday 01-05-03, but am experiencing problems with their 'Customer services'

my e-mail to chase up order-

Hi
Any idea when this order will be shipped?
thanks
Nigel
..................
The Twister Group support-

You should received in a couple of weeks.
Thank you,
Eugene
The Twister Group
..................
Not happy with the 'SHOULD' aspect of their reply I replied-

I'm suprised at your answer.
The items I ordered were IN STOCK when will they be *dispatched*?
Also, considering the cost in the postage I'm being charged, for feather
light items why can't they be fedex 3 day delivery?
Can you please confirm these items are in stock as stated
Thanks
Nigel
.......................
The Twister Group reply-

We don't offer FedEx International. First, products have to be shipped to
our sales office and then forwarded to you via USPS. You knew when placing
an order that the delivery takes 10 business days.

Thank you,
Eugene

Not used to the attitude 'You knew when placing
an order' my reply-

Dear Eugene

For someone who is in customer services/support the tone of your e-mails
leaves a lot to be desired.

"You should received in a couple of weeks"
"You knew when placing an order that the delivery takes 10 business days"

How long has The Twister Group been trading?....are you a new Company?

Also you STILL have not answered my questions

1/ when will they be *dispatched*?

2/ Can you please confirm these items are in stock as stated?

Nigel
...................................
Twisters reply-

Dear Nigel,

We've been in business for 4 years. We have many satisfied customers. Some
latest reviews on our services can be seen at:
http://www.epinions.com/The_Twister_Group_Online_Stores_and_Services/display_~reviews

It was very busy day: not many stores have this product in stock. We have
many orders that could not be fulfilled because this memory is sold out.

I already answered your question about the stock: you couldn't place an
order if we didn't have items in stock. It is allocated for your order.

What is "dispatched"? Is it the same as "shipped"? Yes, it is shipped. First
to our sales office and then, once delivered to us, will be forwarded to
you. Our warehouse doesn't ship overseas, so we handle it here.

How many stores did you see ship internationally? And how many of them have
this product in stock? Imagine overwhelming number of orders, questions,
inquiries?

Thank you,
Eugene
The Twister Group

Very poor, obviously considering cancelling, but want the sticks can any friendly forum member who placed an International order with them possibly e-mail them and see when they will be sent. Hopefully get a friendlier more professional response.

thanks
