Internal Memory running out of space!! help..... |

Can anyone tell me how i can free up the space for the phone? I have tried uninstalling programs.....but something is still taking up all the space of the phone. what the hell is it? and where is it stored?
also....if i wanna format the c:\ will it still come back on with the factory settings when its done? or do i need the cds to do it? cos i dont have cds with me at the mo, thanks |

Open programs take space also. Try using program like swicher or handy day they have opportunities to close programs. Although they say (it seems to be true) that symbian closes programs by itself when needed.
Avoid installing programs to the phone memory use stick instead. Also record all your pictures taken by cam to stick that hels keeping the phone memory free.

You can check where the space is used in Control Panel - Storage Manager, but it only shows an overall list and the "space available" is in the internal memory.
If you click "Files" in storage manager it will show you a simple file explorer (missing some directories) but shows the free space on the stick as well.
I've just started my first MobileVB app to show the sizes of folders (directories) so you can see what's eating your precious Mb
