Hi,
I'm wondering if the P800's performance would be affected by the volume of data stored. For instance, having tons of emails, SMS and contacts (probably with a 128MB MS Duo) might have adverse effect on the response time of the functions.
Can anyone ascertain that? Thanks.

as long as you leave 1mb or so on the internal drive it shouldn't be a problem...

No it doesn't... but a SINGLE, LARGE file (Movie... 100MB) does slow it down a bit when you try to fast forward or rewind the movie when it's half way (or near the end). That's about it... and leave 1MB or more of INTERNAL memory free... the phone needs free space for a cache/swap file.

Oh, a note... one contact takes up about 3K (This includes a small photo), so that's about 3MB per 1000 contacts.

@ jplacson

FYI I have approx 1000 contacts and this takes up only 450K. I only have a few photos and a few voice dials though.
