Hi,
I recently bought a T68i second hand with a camara. The pictures it takes the colours are really saturated, like the posterize option in graphics programs. Is this usual or is the camara faulty?

Check if previous owner didnt set "colour boost" to high value. If so, reduce it to about 25.

The photos as viewed on the phone do look very posterized. This is due to the algorithm that the Communicam uses to reduce the photo to 101x80. However, if you send the photo to a PC, it will actually be fairly good quality.

Since the Communicam doesn't have a flash, good lighting is very important for photo quality.

If you want the photos to look better on the phone, you can do the following:
1) Send the photo to the PC
2) Use an image editor (Photoshop, CompuPic) to reduce the size of the photo to 101x80, you can also brighten some of the dark shots.
3) Send the photo back to the phone.

I agree, photos taken with mca look poor on t68 screen, but it's still not what i'd call "posterized".
