I thought it was obvious, until 2 of my mates paid over the odds shop prices for their phones.. so take a little of my time to share this obvious information to all you people who are as dum as my 2 mates. Hehehe ---lets hope they aint reading this.. if u are boyz; I will buy you a pint if you don't take it to heart!
Anyways… if you turn to the back of the sun… (the page attached to the back of PAGE 3  . You will find mobile phone mail order firms… and they are cheap.. one that stands out is the onestopphoneshop. For example they offered the T68 for £10 on Orange evertime 400. but when u phone up they say you have to stay on that taffif for 4 months…. And well its abit expansive as its £50 pm.
But armed with this info all you have to do is phone or visit Car Phone warehouse (the nice people will price match any mail order firm) as in my case the mail order firm did not have in stock, but the nice car phone W... man on the phone still sorted it (after all he is getting his commission)… but your still on a well expensive tariff… so then all you have to do is phone 151 and ask the nice people at orange to change your tariff from your next billing month, and they are happy to do so…
Did I say price match, in fact they give 110% of the price, and hence I got my T68 on orange for FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, and my billing month was a day after I got the phone, so I was able to change my tariff STRAIGHT AWAY.
And I do say.. its such nice phone.
The above would work with any high priced phone/ network, as for as i am know they all let you change tarrif at your billing month. (but i could be wrong)

woohooo!! i did the same yesterday!!
got a t68m price matched at carphone warehouse for £49.95 on talk 200 (25 quid month).. it arriced today so i phoned orange to see when my billing date is and WOOT!! is tomorow!! so im onto talk 60 now after 1 day ;0) and i paid a measly 50 quid for me phone!!! |

yeah do that mate, but get yourself removed from the onestops waiting list....
its easyer to get it priced match via carphones mail order service as the shops ussally dont do it unless the other place has it in stock...
if the guy you get on the phone does not sort it out... let me know and i will give you the number of the man who sorted out my phone as he was well safe. |
