Hi all!
I just installed iRemoteUiq and when I restarted the P800 (I was told to do so), now MOST of my apps are gone. The file manager still works so I can browse the disk and see that they are there but I just can't run them. I can't also access the control panel in order to make master reset. I can uninstall the program too...
ANY SUGGESTIONS???
Thanks! |

While I suspect microneo's answer is correct... If it isn't you should try foramtting your internal drive. This is done with the flip closed and a combination of jog dial moves/keypresses which I don't remember..
Do a search...(So you don't need the control panel) |

Before formating, try take out duo and reinssert duo when phone is on. Maybe the duo is full. P800 has memory swapping issues with a full duo.

Hi guys!
I could fix it by removing the battery and then putting it back.Restart didn't work (I mean the power off restart, with 10 seconds holding the power button), but what worked was the battery thing. |

I tried the same thing when exactly the same problem occurred but removing the battery didn't work. I ended up restoring from a backup (that thankfully I had!)
I know it's a beta, but it's a bit worrying that an app can almost completely destroy a phone like this - you almost expect it with a PC, but not with a phone? |

I had quite the same experience! I installed the IR Remote app and got an error message when I used it. Didn't give it any mind. But the next day, my friend was wondering why I wasn't picking up my phone. He was calling but my phone didn't ring (it was ringing at his end). He also never got the SMSes that I sent to him.
I turned off my phone and turned it back on. Everything was GONE! All my shortcut icons were gone! The onkly things that were left were the EXTRA apps I installed on my phone! All the CORE apps were gone (so I couldn't even do a master reset)!
Good thing my phone was due for a firmware upgrade... sigh |

I have a way worse experience with this irremote p.o.s. I installed it, restarted my phone and now the phone won't boot.
It comes up for about 1 second with a short list of few apps, but most are toast. Then the SE splash screen comes on and the phone doesn't respond to anything.
I think I'm hosed. I can't do anything with it at this point.

I don't have this problem at all using v0.90
Though tracker 2.0 emptied my applist totally and restarting the phone didn't help. So I just clicked on Sman - Extraz and then on Fix applist and all was back again. Haven't had a problem like this again.

A mobile phone is two computers working together. One takes calls and one sends calls. So the P800 should be 3 computers. One PDA and well one for taking calls and one for sending calls.
