P800 SMTP Authentification Question |

Sorry if this is a repeat, but I DID do a search and I didn't actually find anyone addressing this question.
Like many people with T68i's I can receive email from my ISP but not SEND it. Theoretically, the SMTP authentification feature in the P800 will correct this problem, no? I don't want to spend $600 on a PDA that can't even check and send my email.
Thanks in advance. |

Hi,
I'm using the authenticated SMTP feature of the P800 to send email with no problems.

Well, I am with Vodafone, but my smtp server is provided by 1&1 internet (http://www.oneandone.co.uk) - I have an account with them. their authenticated smtp has not given me any errors so far.

Thanks for the replies...I went ahead and ordered one for $597 (free shipping..pretty good deal I guess.) If it doesn't work I can always sell it on Ebay for profit... |
