Hi Friends,
Just spoke to a SP in Sthlm city they told me:
"Ericsson is busy finnishing the (MMS) sw at this moment and it should be available for you to ugrade here in the beginning of next week."
Last time I asked the same person at the same SP they expected the sw this or next week so I guess they have received some kind of additional info from SE.
Lets hope...anybody else checked their SPs lately?

The Service Centers propably doesnt know a thing. They just want to keep the customers happy and hopefull. |

Well, maybe but there was a signifcant change in this girls answer to my question and she did not recognice me from my last visit a week ago. I think SE is busy putting the sw on EMMA in time for CEBIT, not for us but for all Ericsson people at the exebition and other companys who wants to show MMS functions/apps...what do yo think?

Well the T68i is comming on the next friday (Here in Finland.). So after that we can expect the MMS software.

it has nothing to do with that the MMS support is not finished... they could have released the support when the T68 was first released last year, but since no operators had support for MMS in their networks  saw no use of having that function from start...
one of the reasons for the delay is the problems that's has been revealed with the R2B013 version. This version seems to be causing communication problems with T68 on some mobile networks (like Tele2/Comviq in Sweden for example)... Until the new version is fully tested so theese problems are fixed we'll have to wait for it.

I work for Ericsson...but I can not find anything out from SE...thats another company...searched the intranet and the only info on release for the sw was an input to an internal discussion forum in which it was stated that the commersial release was scheduled for week 10...of course we have to wait and see, but it is also very interessting to see who gets the new sw from a SP first... |

What division of Ericsson do you work for and where?
Where on Ericssons Intranet did you found that thing about release date and so? I work for ERA.

Nopes but IŽll check it out first thing at monday night - "graveyard shift again" *Puh*
I only got 3 weeks left at ERA  , got fired with the rest of 420 that had to leave ERA. Many from you that got fired?

IŽll be attending "the Antenn Project"-heard of that?
And start looking for a new work-thats the deal with the project-to find a new company to work for. Have the same salary as I had at Ericsson so I dont complain
I wonder what happens if 3G doesnt "hit" as expected??
