Hi there,
I have a T68m with the following software settings.
R2A013
prgCXC125401
R2A013
prgCXC125418_TA
E
LCD SW Versions
Test: 200109110
Current: 200109110
The firmware of the HBH-10 I do not know.
I cannot get the two devices to communicatie with eachother.
The headset works fine with a T39m.
Do I need a firmware update for the phone or headset, or both?
Thanx in advance!
Greetings,
Willem

It could be because of different settings on the T-39 and T-68.
I encountered that.
In :
SETTINGS > Handsfree > answering mode >
on the T-39 it should be set to "normal"
on the T-68 it has to be on "automatic"
I use the HBH-10 and T-68 (before T-39) and they both work
I dont think its got anything to do with software in the HBH-10,
Reason: I used my HBH-10 with T-68, Before I upgraded the headset-software,..and it worked there too.
My HBH-10 was bought in june 2001, so my software was "old" too

Thanks for your advice, but it still does not work. So or my T68 does not function properly, or my headset needs an upgrade.

I had the same problem... It is the HBH 10 that needs the upgrade of firmware... It then function perfectly in automatic mode... Confirm one...

Hi,
I've phoned a Ericsson Service Center, but they can't update the firmware. Afterwards I phoned Ericsson. They said that my T68 needed an update to software version R2B.
Will this do then, or where can I find a place to update the Bleutooth-headset?

Hi, wbichelaer
My T68 & HBH -10 had the same connection problems you described
However, since I upgraded T68 software from R1C to R2B013, the problem is completely gone

About the headset upgrade. Not all service-points actually do these upgrades.
You should probably try to contact/find the main upgrade center in your country,..they will know, where you can get this done.
In this part of Denmark, where I live, only one place can do bluetooth-headset upgrades.

Thanks,
This afternoon I will go to a service center where they can upgrade my T68. I hope they can inform me about the 'main' Bleutooth headset upgrade center.

My headset works now. I did upgrade my T68 to R2B, but that was not the solution for my minor headset problem. It was me who did not search right for the headset, namely when the headset was flashing only green, and not red and green. So now after all, it finally works. And I am satisfied with the qualtiy of the headset. Though it's a pity it is not possible to upgrade the firmware of the HBH-10.

It is possible to upgrade firmware for HBH-10.
In the whole of Malaysia, there is only one machine available to do that. I am sure the same applied to Netherlands. Try asking SE where and how to do it.
