Second phone, T100 or T300? |

I am going to get a backup phone as I have a P800 and dont want to take it out with me if I go to the pub, I have a T68i that my g/f has stolen, but I can get both the T300 and T100 for around the same price.
Anyone have any comments for both phones or opinions? |

Um.
No offense like, but do you even need to think about this?
The t300 has everything that the t100 has and more. The only thing the t100 has going for it is the size difference and that's not really vast enough to compensate.
T300, every time. Just don't try and download Tony Hawks

i agree with jalu. t300...or t310 is better (or at least that's what they say )

I dont think that T310 is even abailable in Aus, or it that just a T300 with a software upgrade?
The T100 size is a big +, coz the features arent a huge thing, if I want features I have a T68i and a P800, I am thinking purely of using it as a phone (although I know I will play with it a bit). |

just my opinion (almost my case). i also have a p800 and i use my old t65 as backup phone, also to go to the pub. if my girlfriend stole me the t65, i would go for a t100 rather than a t300. firstly because it's newer, lighter and smaller. secondly because i love its design (i also love t300, but blue t100 is so beautiful).
now, if you ask me about features. of course, t300 is almost as powerful as my t65 (and it has infrared, which t65 hasn't), but honestly, when i'm in the pub i'm not going to read email via gprs, record a voice note or play minigolf.
BUT. there's something that would make me get a t300 instead. with t100, you'd have to use your sim card contacts, because the phone memory's 100 contacts are not enough. and think about it, isn't it more comfortable that you have your outlook contacts synced with both t300 and p800? (t100 can't sync).
solution: buy a t100 for your girlfriend, she'll love it; and use your t68i as backup

I wish, ever since she saw Q I havent got the phone back
I agree with you, I like the design of the T100, but you make a very good point in that you cant sync the T100, which is something that I will need to do. T300 it is I guess.
Thanks for that info. |
