even when its locked, does it keep on switching the screen on, hense wasting power?
my battery ran down in about a third of the time because it was in my pocket... the slightest movement triggers the touchscreen

Well... u could use it with the flip on so that the touchscreen is disabled |

The screen is active however the light will only go on if you push the jog dial in or press OK. |

Duck Yeah!!
The light eats the power!! Try it go to power section and turn on your light ON not auto and see how long your battery works. When I travel for more then 4 days i have it set to off. That way I know my phone will last. It is rather annoying cause you cant see anything on the plane unless you have you seat light on!
But yes the light does kill the battery! |
