Bluetooth - Automatic option |

Apologies if this has been asked, but what does the "Automatic" option do in the Operation mode menu? I've got a bluetooth headset - HBH-30 and I've briefly read the manual, but i still have no clue on what it does
Thanks
btw - does anyone know when the radio handsfree would be out in sydney? so far they are available online from ozgadgets.com.au and gmashop.com.au for about $80 but i think i'll be able to find a better price at a real shop - been told by sonycentral (chatswood) that they'll get some on wednesday... hmm...

Automatic on the phone means, in theory, that the bluetooth option will switch itself on when something else tries to connect to it, afaik.
IE is off, then a headset tries to connect, should switch on.
Stop me if I'm wrong

Hmm that's what I thought. I've turned my T68i to Auto, pressed the button on my HBH 30 and the phone is doing a no show. Hmm. Maybe it's my phone... Oh well - no biggie, I'll just leave the bluetooth on.
thanks

@JAlu
I think you are wrong, when the phone is in automatic mode it means when you select a file to send and you select BT it automatically does it and does not need you to go into the settings to switch BT on, the only time your can Have your headset connect to your phone is when you are in Discoverable Mode.......... |

Not sure what the technical difference is but only with BT on are you able to voice dial from the headset or transfer sound to the headset from the phone mid-call. In either mode, the headset will connect to the phone when a call is made, unless the headset is connected to another device.
