Email (pop3) on my p800 |

O.K. I guess I am really dumb, but I can NOT figure this out. I have had my p800 for 4 months now- worked fine with Vodafone. just switched to o2. So far, from the o2 website I have downloaded the configurators for gprs, mmms, email etc... BUT the only thing that works is my internet connection to "O2 WAP GPRS" bookmark - I can't even access the sonyericsson website anymore.
Needless to say, I can't send or receive MMS messages anymore, nor can i access my BTopenworld email nor my vodafone.net email other than through the O2 WAP site ( BT only- not Vodafone obviously)
How have O2 managed to do this to me? Why don;t they understand the problems? and how do I get this sorted out? any idea's? settings, advice etc?

Noone? surely someone out there uses O2 on their P800 and also has a Btopenworld ISP email account? and can sucessfully retrieve email, and can swap the setting with me?
TIA

Could it be that o2 only allows wap access, and not web? | |
