Please could someone tell me how to simply send "I have pressed enter" input to a website when using handwriting recognition on the P800?

Thank you

Try a forward slash, start at the top...

Hi,

Ahh I see what you mean, found it on a little java app I was playing with, although I'm sure the forward slash has worked on some sites for me ??
The keyboard 'return' wont work either, if I go to another screen and come back it has been 'entered'....very oddd!

Anyone else have any ideas?

Dont know if this is what your talking about....

When viewing a web page and entering some data and must clcik on the send button for sending and email. You must hold ur pen on the button untill it is highlighted and then let go. Or you tap it realy quickly without moving it, if you move the pen, it will write something for you!

Typing a forward slash as the previous poster suggested definitely DOES work on single line text fields. On a multi-line text field, on the otherhand, a slash sends a carriage return.

This is exactly the same as when you are using your PC. in a single line text field submits the form, but on a multi-line creates a new line.

Stephen, if this is still not the information you are looking for, you really need to clarify or re-state your question. There are many times when you might press enter on a web-page, whether it's on a Flash Site, a Java applet, or an html-form. My response above only relates to the web form, and even then, Javascript can disable using on single-line text fields.
