Go to the relevant sound file, select 'send as' and IR/BT. Make sure the device you're sending to has IR/BT activated and hey presto!

OK, usinf the "File Manager" app, as soon as I tap on a file to select it, it opens the file, won't actually allow me to just highlight it, so I can't send it.

As for opening the sounds, there is no "send" option in the sound browser, or in the sound player that opens if you open it in the storage manager.

I spent quite a while going through as many ways as I could looking how I could do it, and nothing seems to give me a send dialogue.

Pictures are no problem, documents in the viewer are no problem, just sounds.

Only thing I can think of is perhaps this is an Orange UK thing? Like the Vodafone UK GX10 has irda file sending disabled, although I have had R2D blown and that removed any Orange specific startup logos and settings, so not sure about that theory.

OK, just stumbled upon it by accident. If you use the file list view, instead of the play list view, then double tap on a file it opens it in the file player window, and from there you get the Send As dialogue.

This option isn't available on the other views, or if this window opens from the storage manager view.

Very odd.

You don't have to double tap....

As for the filemanager.. You have to touch the icon(to the left) of the file you want to highlight....
